On July 23rd, 2023, Isuzu Vietnam and Isuzu Thang Long dealer cooperated with J&T Express in Ha noi to successfully organize Safety & Eco-drive seminar and Daily Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection for the company’s drivers.
J&T Express in Vietnam is known as one of the leading brands in the field of express delivery, with service coverage across 63 provinces and cities, and is currently a big fleet customer of Isuzu Vietnam.
The program took place with the participation of more than 23 drivers and Managers of J&T Express in Hanoi, which confirmed the practicality of the program and J&T Express’s special attention to safety and saving while operating the truck.
Safety & Eco-drive seminar program for J&T drivers is organized by Isuzu Vietnam & Isuzu Thang Long dealer under collaboration with J&T Express at Hanoi.
Speaking at the opening of the program, the Vice Director of J&T Express Transshipment Center in Hanoi – Mr. Nguy Tuong Vinh has affirmed that safe driving and fuel economy are one of the top criteria of J&T Express in the operation and delivery of goods in order to bring the driver’s safety and efficiency in transportation. Through the program, Mr. Vinh also thanked Isuzu Vietnam and Isuzu Thang Long dealer for collaborating with J&T Express to organize the Safety & Eco-drive seminar for J&T Express drivers. He affirmed that Safety & Eco-drive seminar is a practical program that brings useful information to the driver team and is in line with the orientation and training programs of J&T Express.
Drivers are directly involved in the operation, delivery of goods, creating value, and bringing efficiency to business activities. For every driver, safe driving skills on every journey are paramount. In addition, fuel-efficient driving skills and mastering the methods of daily vehicle maintenance and inspection will help drivers operate safely and at the same time improve operating efficiency, meeting the need to reduce service costs of J&T Express, bringing benefits to the driver-company-service user, Mr. Vinh added.

Through the seminar, with the guidance of Isuzu Vietnam and Isuzu Thang Long dealer, the trainees participated in 03 main contents as follow:
- Guide to Safety & Eco Driving skill (Theory & Practice)
- Instructions for daily vehicle maintenance and inspection (Theory and practice)
- Health Report Explanation; Q&A Section
Accordingly, participants participate in driving practice in two ways: normal driving according to daily practice and fuel-efficient driving according to the skills instructed by Isuzu.
After the training, according to the assessment of Isuzu Vietnam, the result of driving by 02 methods in the training session show that the operating skills of the J&T Express team of drivers are very good. With the new method, Isuzu estimates it is possible to save an additional 10% of fuel consumption.
